📖 Hebrews Chapters 1–2
The Exalted Son and Suffering Savior

Hebrews opens with a majestic portrait of Jesus as the final and supreme revelation of God — the divine Son through whom the worlds were made, who radiates God's glory and upholds all things by His power. He is exalted above angels, enthroned forever, and worshiped by heavenly beings. Yet in chapter 2, this exalted Son humbles Himself to share in human flesh and suffering. He becomes the merciful and faithful High Priest, tasting death for all, destroying the power of the devil, and helping those who are tempted. These chapters reveal Jesus as both sovereign and sacrificial — fully divine, fully human, and uniquely qualified to redeem.
